Job Title – Senior Engineer
Project – Residential Projects – RC Frame
Job Location – Louth / North Dublin
Salary - €55K – €65K BOE
About the Company
Working with a very busy Tier 2, reputable contractor on high profile social housing developments in the North Leinster area. This contractor specialises in providing high quality homes to the social housing market.
They have multiple projects in the North Dublin / Louth areas including low rise resi and RC Frame apartments.
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
- Coordinate and delegate works on site in adherence with programme.
- Support the Project Manager and Site Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Must have at least 3-4 years’ experience post graduate with a main contractor, ideally on a residential project but this is not essential.
- RC Frame experience is advantageous.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
