Senior Engineers – NI, ROI & UK
INFORM3 are seeking Senior Engineers to work on various civil projects including railways, utilities, government buildings and industrial units in NI, ROI & UK.
The client is a highly successful Civil Engineering Contractor with a Senior Management team of over 50 years of experience and knowledge within the industry. The successful candidate must have a Civil Engineer or Construction Management degree, previous experience setting out and the ability to mentor Junior Engineers.
Senior Engineer Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Project Manager
- Review Site Drawings and Specifications
- Complete daily setting out duties
- Supervise and mentor Junior Engineers
- Provide support the wider site team
- Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Order in materials, paying particular attention to stock levels on site
- Manage waste ensuring it is disposed of ethically
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Attend Site Meetings
- Complete site inductions and briefings
- Carry out toolbox talks
- Complete the site diary and paperwork
- Provide reports to the Project Manager
Senior Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree
- 4 years or more relevant experience
- Previous experience setting out
- Able to manage and motivate Junior Engineers
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Able to use Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
