Senior Estimator – Monaghan

The Company

 A design and engineering Contractor with a global reach are on the lookout for a Senior Estimator to join their team. Working across both residential and commercial projects.

This client has experienced impressive success and have the scope to embark on larger scale projects within a new market.

The Role

• Reading Blue prints and technical documents
• Identify and quantify cost factors such as time, materials and expenses
• Carry out research to attain data on material costs, time, materials etc
• Increasing profitability by recommendations for cost
• Preparing estimates and supporting documentation via computer software
• Collecting subcontractor proposals and evaluating
• Assist with proposal preparation and presentations to clients
• Evaluate contingency requirements
• Communication with both internal teams
• Establish relationships with key vendors
• Prepares cost analysis of material, labor, equipment, subcontractor and overhead costs incurred in the installation of items

What you need

• Third Level Qualification
• 5+ years’ estimating experience
• Excellent Communication Skills, Written and Verbal
• Ability to Multitask
• Proficient with estimating and design software
