Senior Health & Safety – Cork
INFORM3 require a Senior Health & Safety Officer for residential and commercial projects in Cork. The contractor is widely recognised throughout the construction industry due to their award-winning projects and highly skilled teams. The contractor is seeking to add a Senior Health & Safety Officer with heavy experience in managing health & safety on a construction site and conducting site audits.
Senior Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:
- Report into the Health & Safety Manager
- Coordinate and carry out Site Audits, Walks and Inspections
- Complete reports upon site visits
- Ensure all staff adhere to Health & Safety regulations and procedures
- Alert the Site Teams of any specific health & safety requirements for the project
- Conduct Health & Safety briefing
- Implement Method Statements, COSHH assessments, toolbox talks, O&M manuals etc
- Coordinate and schedule training for staff
- Attend Site Meetings
- Maintain high levels of PPE Stock
- Assist in emergency situations
- Liaise with Clients / Consultancies / Public when appropriate
- Attend Health & Safety Meetings
H&S Officer Specification:
- Health & Safety Degree or Qualification
- 4 years plus in a similar position
- Driven and Motivated
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
- Fantastic Communicator and Highly Organised
- Full Driving License
