Senior Health & Safety Officer Mallow €80-90k
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Senior Health & Safety Officer for our client based in Mallow, County Cork who have a strong portfolio of projects nationwide.
The successful candidate will need to have an excellent background developing Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures and implementing them throughout site. This role will be mostly office based but with travel to site.
Health & Safety Officer Responsibilities:
- Provide expert health and safety leadership throughout project planning and delivery
- Ensure compliance with H&S legislation, Regulations and client-specific standards
- Analyse safety compliance data from across the business and identify trends to identify and implement SHEQ improvement plans.
- Communicate with Senior Management and Site teams on Health and Safety requirements for site
- Maintain the promotion of Health and Safety on site
- Implement Method Statements and assessments
- Plan and Coordinate training and maintain records
- Organise site visits, assessments and reporting
Candidate Specification:
- Experience in a senior Health & Safety role within a construction environment
- Proven ability to influence, lead, and engage diverse project teams and stakeholders.
- Skilled in incident investigation, risk assessment, and method statement development.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma or similar health and safety qualification
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare detailed reports and presentations.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Full Driving License
