A leading Pharmaceutical Company based in Galway have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Technician to join their ever-expanding business.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • As the Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for defining and performing specific tasks required to calibrate, maintain, repair and install equipment.
  • Take on the responsibility of overseeing maintenance processes and the maintenance team.
  • Ensure all manufacturing equipment in safely maintained and repaired when required to optimise efficiency.
  • Be able to provide hands on support to maintain and improve the reliability of company machinery and equipment.
  • Be accountable and efficient in the day-to-day maintenance of pharmaceutical operations.
  • Proactively identify improved ways of working within the maintenance team.
  • Follow all company standard operating procedures.
  • Preform maintenance works, renewals and enhancement works. Including inspections, self-assurance checks and quality checks.
  • Responsible for the complete overhaul and repair for any manufacturing equipment.
  • Day to day repair of faults identified through inspection or as reported.

Experience and Knowledge:

The successful individual should hold a recognisable qualification in a relevant field with a good level of experience working for at least 3-5 years in a maintenance role. Experience within the Pharmaceutical Sector would be highly desirable.
