Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager – Leading to Directorship

Rightpath have the amazing opportunity for a Strong Contracts Manager to come into a business and head up a mechanical division as no1. The company owners are fully prepared to back this right person and help in every way possible to grow the division to the next level. Once certain targets are hit there will be a Directors role offered along with all the added extras. This contractor has huge aspirations for the future and for growing the business.

For this role you will need to have 10 years’ experience at a senior level in the mechanical industry.

Key Duties:

• Assist to produce business cases, project reports, technical specifications and drawings, against technical needs and the agreed brief and seek, through competitive tender/quotations, cost effective submissions from the suitable suppliers/contractors.
• Maintain the existing system of filing of drawings and documents. General knowledge of contract administration is must.
• Oversee the whole department from site teams to commercial.
• Grow business from existing clients and through new business development. Being the first point of contact for all clients.
• To be part of the team to analyse all quotations, tenders received, awarding such contracts including cost/content and timescale plus type of contract, order or commitment to be used.
• Develop and maintain a database of suppliers' details for all groups and facilitate procurement of such items. Point of liaison for external suppliers.
