Senior Mechanical Engineer                             Newcastle      

INFORM3 Recruitment is searching for an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a client based in Newcastle. This will be a primarily office-based role, with some site visits.

The Ideal Candidate will have 3+ years of experience working in a variety of sectors and will hold relevant qualifications. The candidate will be chartered or currently pursuing it.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop mechanical systems for building services needs.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure all mechanical work is up to standard.
• Create factual and accurate reports based on evidence, then communicate them to appropriate team members
• Work within a multi-disciplined team to ensure the projects is completed on time and within the budget.
• Make critical decisions in the best interest of the client.

Skills and Qualities:

• Degree educated or holding relevant industry experience
• Has previous site experience
• Can work on designs for different industries
• Knows UK regulations for building services
• Must be chartered or working towards it.
• 3+ years post education experience
• Good prioritisation skills
