Senior Planner             London/Antrim

The Company

Fit out company based in Antrim are looking for a Planner to join their commercial team in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective planning and programming of interior fit-out projects and establishing, recording and reporting on progress of works through the life cycle of projects. Although mainly based in London, there is the opportunity to work from their head office in Antrim too a few days a week.

The Role

• Producing programmes of a high quality which meet Company & Client expectations, within time allocated and in line with project deadlines.
• Providing guidance and assistance to sales and support team.
• Taking ownership / responsibility for relevant assigned projects.
• Liaising with external customers and internal team.
• Liaising with equipment manufacturers/suppliers as and when required.
• Regular reporting on project progress to management team on a project and portfolio analysis basis
• Monitor progress of programmes and highlight areas of concern with site teams, proposing mitigation measures where required.
• Regular site visits to assist site teams with planning matters.
• Report any planning issues to the senior project manager and site management team
• Regular site visits to assist site teams with planning matters.

What you need

• Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 2-3 years construction planning experience.
• Experience at both the tender and contract stages of projects
• Previous programming experience on new build and/or interior fit-out type projects
• Possess a good understanding and varied technical knowledge of the construction process
• Strong communication skills
