A tier 1 main contractor are seeking Senior Project Managers who will be in consideration for large commercial and residential projects in Dublin City.

 

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Job Location: Dublin City

Sector: Residential & Commercial

Salary: €90,000 - €100,000

 

The Role

  • Responsible for the management, coordination and execution of the project, whilst meeting the objectives set out for EHS, design, technical, quality, programme and commercial.
  • Coordinate, monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
  • Assign resources ensuring they are available when required
  • Determine the necessary plant, materials and manpower needed
  • Manage QC for the lifecycle of the project and ensure all project documentation is handled correctly
  • Ensure material and equipment are ordered and delivered on time.
  • Update programme with senior management to ensure milestones are met.
  • Safeguard compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and ensure compliance with BCAR
  • Co-operate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and project team

 

Job Requirements

  • 3rd evel Qualification in relevant Construction Discipline
  • Engineering background preferred
  • Have at least 5 yrs experience in a PM role
  • Ability to advise clients and design teams on value, risks, and programme correctly
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Committed to working as part of a team and progress career development
  • Be motivated, organised and have excellent time management skills
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams
  • Possess good IT skills
  • Good knowledge of construction material and processes
  • Ability to multitask and a strong understanding of core manager duties
