Senior Project Manager - Cork

A busy main contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Cork. You will be based on one project - projects are primarily pharmaceutical.

Salary: €85,000 - €100,000

The Role

• Management, coordination and execution of project, whilst meeting the objectives set out for EHS, design, quality etc.
• Coordinate, monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
• Assign resources ensuring they are available when required
• Determine the necessary plant, materials and manpower needed
• Manage Quality Control for the entirety of the project and ensure all documentation is handled correctly
• Ensure material and equipment are ordered and delivered on time.
• Update programme to ensure milestones are met.
• Safeguard compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and ensure compliance with BCAR
• Co-operate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and project team

Job Requirements

• Degree qualified with a Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a Main Contractor in Ireland or elsewhere as a Project Manager on £15m+ projects.
• Pharma experience desired
• Motivated individual with excellent negotiation/communication skills.
• Good I.T. Skills i.e., Microsoft products
• The ability to make decisions under pressure and use your initiative; problem-solving skills in other words.
• Good leadership skills to motivate and direct the team.
• Excellent organisational skills to use your resources to ensure deadlines are met and the project budget is maintained.
