Senior QS – Co Monaghan 


An Senior Quaintly Surveyor vacancy has become available with a Fit Out Contractor based in Co Monaghan.

They are a versatile construction and joinery company, producing specialist and bespoke high-end joinery products, alongside comprehensive construction and refurbishment service within the retail, leisure, healthcare and education sectors.

We require an experienced QS/ SeniorQuantity Surveyor / Estimator, with a strong commercial background and the ability to manage multiple refurbishment, interior fit out and strip out projects ranging from £5k up to £3.5 million. You will be responsible for producing tenders in a timely and detailed manner.

You will work from both head office and site, managing accounts from a commercial viewpoint, conducting client and sub-contract meetings whilst building tender prices. This role requires you to drive to sites, therefore it is paramount you hold a full driving licence.

The successful candidate will ideally be HNC qualified or higher, and have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role with competent knowledge of estimating and pricing tenders, remaining compliant with Health and Safety regulations whilst working in-line with company procedures, maintaining communication with the commercial team to ensure quotes are accurate.

  • Previous experience and knowledge in Quantity Surveying and Estimation;
  • Produce tenders/quotes;
  • Good understanding of commercial management of building works;
  • Good numerical, IT and software skills;
  • HNC or higher relevant qualification;
  • Full Driving Licence;
  • Locally based.


  • Previous work within the leisure/education sector;
  • Knowledge of working on schedule of rates.


The hours for this role are full-time, Monday to Friday.
