We are currently recruiting for a Senior QA/QC for our client based in Louth, however this role would involve travel around Dublin, Cork and Limerick.

This role could be for you if you have some experience in the Steel Construction Industry and are keen to work on high profile projects and want career development.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborated with project teams to establish and implement quality assurance processes.
• Identified and reported any quality issues or deviations from project specifications.
• Provided training and support to project teams and sub-contractors to enhance their understanding of quality standards and procedures.
• Preparing and delivering project quality reports and updates during team meetings.
• Coordinating and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conducting site inspections, incremental walks, and scheduling inspections with various project stakeholders.
• Maintaining detailed records of inspections, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.
• Collaborating with project delivery teams, subcontractors, and employers to coordinate inspections and maintain inspection-related documentation.
• Monitoring and controlling subcontractor's third-party test reports.
• Participating in the development and execution of internal quality audits and supplier/subcontractor assessments, including follow-up on non-conformances and observations.
• Monitoring the implementation of corrective actions and addressing their root causes.

Key Skills

• Relevant Engineering degree.
• 3 years+ experience.
• Supplier management experience.
• Experience in using ERP systems.
• Significant experience in quality tools like PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control plans, 8D, Six sigma (Green Belt) and other quality tools or experience.
