Senior Quantity Surveyor – Co Sligo
The Company
A long standing, award winning company in the construction industry for over 60 years are very excited to announce they are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
You would be joining a company that has established its roots in both Ireland and the UK, completing building, fit out and civil engineering contracts. Working across all sectors inclusive of education, health and pharmaceutical, residential, commercial and Industrial and so forth on projects from the value of £5-29 million.
The Job
- Responsible for running projects commercially from bid to final account.
- Maximise commercial efficiency of the project whilst reducing the risk profile
- Duties include measurement, valuation and agreement of works.
- Preparing tender enquires for subcontract work packages.
- Analysis of tender returns followed by package recommendation report.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with supply chains.
- Negotiating on behalf of the company.
- Monthly contract reports.
- Managing the junior staff
What you will have:
- BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying (or similar, a 2:1 or higher preferred)
- 6 years + experience.
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Presentable and articulate
- Excellent organiser with proven time management skills
