Senior Quantity Surveyor- Derry/Londonderry
The Company
Construction company seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team!
A family run business, focusing on developing a strong network of clients, working across public and private sectors, completing projects from the value of £1 million to £5 million within residential, hospitality, commercial, healthcare.
As an experienced Quantity Surveyor you will bring your expertise and knowledge to the team, to support and assist in guiding the commercial team. You will be a valued member to the company and they will invest in your future.
The Role
- The Senior QS will take on responsibility for numerous projects and work closely with the project team throughout delivery
- Cost Management, ensuring the projects remains in budget
- Prepare tendering projects
- Providing support within Project Monitoring
- Contract Administration
- Effective management of main contract and subcontract accounts
- Preparing interim valuations, identifying and valuing variations
- Dealing with Contractual matters
Criteria
- Degree Qualified in QS or Construction Management
- 7+ years’ experience
- Highly motivated hard-working individual who can work on their own or as part as a team
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
