The Company
A long-established construction company with a turnover of €80 million are expanding and growing drastically and have an opportunity to bring on a Senior Quantity Surveyor! The company have offices in several locations across Ireland and they have exciting projects in the pipeline, with an emphasis on promotions from within, you will be making a long-term move. The company has projects in healthcare, hospitality, fit out, refurbishment, rodential, industrial.
Your Responsibilities:
- Attending pre commencement/ pre contract meetings
- Financial reporting and control
- Monitor and reviewing costs and values for work
- Produce turnover and contribution forecast
- Design management
- Main contract and external valuations and final accounts
- Contract review and production meetings
- Management of risk
- Liaising closely with the design team/project manager and commercial manager
What you need….
- You must have a HNC / HND / degree or equivalent in a construction related subject
- 6+ years’ experience
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages
- Excellent written and verbal skills
