The Company
Construction company delivering projects up to the value of £20 million are looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team. Projects are inclusive of office developments, retail, heritage and listed buildings, residential, apartments/ Bespoke housing, industrial, healthcare and sports & Leisure.
The Role
- The Senior QS will take on responsibility for numerous projects and work closely with the project team throughout delivery
- Cost Management, ensuring the projects remains in budget
- Prepare tendering projects
- Providing support within Project Monitoring
- Contract Administration
- Effective management of main contract and subcontract accounts
- Preparing interim valuations, identifying and valuing variations
- Dealing with Contractual matters
What you need
- Third level qualification in QS or Construction management.
- 10+ years’ experience
- Cost management & administration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Previous people management experience required.
