Senior Quantity Surveyor – Dublin/ Flexible working
The Company
Building contractors-based in Dublin city looking Senior Quantity Surveyor, splitting time between site and working from home.
You will report into the Commercial Director and have Project Surveyors reporting into you. This contractor is a family run business, and have sites across Dublin and Wicklow, working on housing and mixed developments.
The Role
- The Senior QS will take on responsibility for numerous projects and work closely with the project team throughout delivery
- Cost Management, ensuring the projects remains in budget
- Prepare tendering projects
- Providing support within Project Monitoring
- Contract Administration
- Effective management of main contract and subcontract accounts
- Preparing interim valuations, identifying and valuing variations
- Dealing with Contractual matters
- Manage Project Quantity Surveyor.
What you need
- Third level qualification in QS or Construction management.
- 10+ years’ experience
- Experience working with building construction
- Cost management & administration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Previous people management experience
