The Company
Utility Contractor dealing in Telecommunications based in looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial activities on their projects over ROI. With many attractive benefits and an attractive salary you will be provided with flexibility to work from home a few days per week. You will contribute to the management and growth current and prospective projects.
The Role
- The Senior QS will take on responsibility for numerous projects and work closely with the project team throughout delivery
- Cost Management, ensuring the projects remains in budget
- Prepare tendering projects
- Providing support within Project Monitoring
- Contract Administration
- Effective management of main contract and subcontract accounts
- Preparing interim valuations, identifying and valuing variations
- Dealing with Contractual matters
What you need
- Third level qualification in QS or Construction management.
- 10+ years’ experience
- Experience working with Telecoms and Utilities is preferrable
- Cost management & administration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
- Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Previous people management experience required.
