The Company
Award winning medium sized building contractor working across multiple sectors such as commercial, industrial, public contracts, historical buildings. Family run business that has expanded to a successfully ran busy contractor. You will have an opportunity to work in a well established commercial team and you will report into the commercial manager.
The Role
- The Senior QS will take on responsibility for numerous projects and work closely with the project team throughout delivery
- Cost Management, ensuring the projects remains in budget
- Prepare tendering projects
- Providing support within Project Monitoring
- Contract Administration
- Effective management of main contract and subcontract accounts
- Preparing interim valuations, identifying and valuing variations
- Dealing with Contractual matters
What you need
- Third level qualification in QS or Construction management.
- 8+ years’ experience
- Cost management & administration skills.
- Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills.
