The Company
Local Building and Civils Contractor have won a number of large-scale projects across NI and ROI. Looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee multi-million-pound projects and have the flexibility for site visits, predominantly in Leinster region. Looking for an individual who has main contracting experience whether it be in building or civils, and who has a good knowledge of the Irish Construction Industry. You will have excellent time management skills and be capable of establishing effective working relations with both site staff and clients.
The Role
- The Senior QS will take on responsibility for numerous projects and work closely with the project team throughout delivery
- Cost Management, ensuring the projects remains in budget
- Prepare tendering projects
- Providing support within Project Monitoring
- Contract Administration
- Effective management of main contract and subcontract accounts
- Preparing interim valuations, identifying and valuing variations
- Dealing with Contractual matters
Quantity Surveyors Criteria
- Third level qualification in QS or Construction management.
- 8+ years’ experience
- Experience working with a Main Contractor
- Cost management & administration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and project
