Senior Quantity Surveyor – Belfast
Building Contractor seeking Senior QS to join their commercial team, this role will involve promotion and progression, so it would ideally suit an indiviudal who is driven and is keen on advancing in the company.
- Looking after residential and commercial building projects
- Work all local – no overseas travel

- Working closely with the Commercial Director whilst mentoring and guiding junior staff

The Role
- Produce budgets and cash flow forecasts for all secured projects.
- Negotiate best prices with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure projects comes in on or better than budget.
- Procurement of key materials to suit project programme.
- Preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
- Pricing and submitting of costs for all variations in a timely fashion.
- Ensuring contract correspondence is being responded to quickly and contractually
- Working closely with Senior Management and Site Staff
Criteria
- Relevant Degree in QS/Construction Management or equivalent.
- 7+years’ experience
- Ambitious, driven and excellent communicator.
- Experience working with a main contractor and within building sector
- Excellent IT & Organisational Skills
