Senior Quantity Surveyor – Cork
The Company
Award winning leading construction contractor with offices in Ireland and the UK, are taking on further projects which means they have a need for a quantity surveyor to join the commercial team in Cork. This role will manage a large building project and you will have responsibility of managing all commercial aspects of the project from initially outset to completion. Projects vary across multiple sectors in both building and civils.
The Role
- Preparation and updating of contact budget
- Responsible for contractual and legal aspects of project
- Liaison with both client/design team.
- Administration of contract records
- Production of monthly JCR’s and JCS’s
- Attendance at contractor handover meeting
- Attendance at bi-weekly contract review meetings
- Updating of cash reporting and collection
- Identification of risks and completion of risk management plan
- Relationship with clients, supply chain and professional team
What you need
- Degree in QS/relevant discipline
- 5+ years’ experience
- Contracting Experience
- Self-motivating
- Ability to work as part of a team
