Senior Quantity Surveyor
INFORM3 construction recruitment is delighted to work with an excellent civil engineering and building contractor to recruit a senior quantity surveyor. The successful candidate will need to have 7+ years’ experience and be confident in pricing. The organisation has been in business for 30 years and has delivered a variety of projects in the following sectors; retail, residential and hospital/ healthcare. With a diverse team, a great location and a very competitive salary it is an opportunity not to be missed.
Duties:
- Ensuring cash flow is maximised
- Preparing monthly cost reports and managing sub-contractors
- Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
- Support and advise allocated team
- Prepare tendering documents
- Manage the costs of projects during the construction stage and negotiate final accounts
Criteria:
- 5+ years’ experience
- BSc degree in quantity surveying or relative field
- Previous work in both civil and building projects
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on profit and cash
- Extensive knowledge in managing civils packages
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
