Senior Quantity Surveyor
INFORM3 construction recruitment is recruiting for a senior quantity surveyor with previous experience in roadworks, utilities and general civil engineering. The organisation is a well-known reputable organisation based in South Dublin that has delivered many high-profile projects including civils infrastructure, roadworks, traffic management, rail and utilities. Our client is a multi-award-winning civil engineering contractor who offers both inhouse and external training development for staff at all levels. Our client has an excellent health and safety record and promotes this throughout all of their live projects. Duties:
- Effective record keeping
- Preparing monthly cost reports and managing sub-contractors
- Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
- liaise with internal and external stakeholders always ensuring that lines of communication are consistently clear
- Prepare tendering documents
- Manage the costs of projects during the construction stage and negotiate final accounts
Criteria:
- Experience in roadworks and utilities
- Strong commercial awareness
- Extensive knowledge in managing civils packages
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to use Microsoft office package to a high standard
