Senior Quantity Surveyor
INFORM3 Recruitment are recruiting for a highly respected civil engineering contractor with over 30 years’ experience delivering large end infrastructure projects across sectors including leisure, rail, gas, industrial and commercial, roads, water and wind. The contractor has a fantastic retention rate and invests heavily in each of its employees. The contractor is recruiting a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to add to their team of experts to share skills and insights into their organisation.
Duties:
- Ensuring cash flow is maximised
- Preparing monthly cost reports and managing sub-contractors
- Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
- Support and advise allocated team
- Prepare tendering documents
- Manage the costs of projects during the construction stage and negotiate final accounts
Criteria:
- 5+ years’ experience
- BSc degree in quantity surveying or relative field
- Previous work in both civil and building projects
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on profit and cash
- Extensive knowledge in managing civils packages
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
