Job Title – Senior Site Engineer (Building)
Project – Residential & Commercial Projects
Job Location – Dublin
Salary – €60,000 - €75,000
About the Company
Working with a reputable Main Contractor on Residential and Commercial Projects across Dublin City.
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
- Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Manage a team of engineers to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to ensure productivity levels on site are high.
- Supervise works.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior role with a main contractor.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team on site.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
