Job Title – Senior Site Engineer
Project – Residential Project
Job Location – Cork
Salary – €60,000 - €70,000
About the Company
Working with a leading, family run, Tier 2 Contractor in Dublin. This Main Building & Civils contractor operate in Residential and Commercial sectors. The successful candidate will be working on an apartment development near Cork City.
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
- Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Manage a team of engineers to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Supervise works.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a senior role.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Experience working on RC Frame, with precast concrete and sheet piling is essential.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
