Senior Site Engineer – Derry / Londonderry
INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Senior Site Engineer for projects in Derry / Londonderry and some travel to the UK. The client has an extensive amount of experience and knowledge in the Civil Engineering industry and an extensive list of projects that they have completed on time and been commended for their high-quality workmanship.
The client is seeking a Senior Site Engineer that is confident in setting out and working off their own initiative. The successful candidate must be flexible in travel.
Senior Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Site Management team
- Complete daily setting out duties as per the Site Drawings and Specifications
- Supervise site teams and sub-contractors
- Adhere to health & safety at all times
- Complete work to an extremely high standard
- Assist in coordinating Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Be the point of contact for technical queries
- Assist in managing traffic on site
- Order in materials when necessary
- Attend Site Meetings
- Complete toolbox talks
- Complete site inductions
- Assist in emergency situations
- Liaise with Consultancies / Clients when appropriate
Senior Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineering Degree
- 4 plus years’ experience in a similar position
- Excellent experience in Setting Out
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Confident in using Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
