Job Title – Senior Site Engineer
Project – Educational
Job Location –Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford
Salary – €50,000 - €55,000
About the Company
Great opportunity to work for one of the busiest contractors in Connaught. The contractor is on the lookout for a Senior Site Engineer to work across 3 projects – all modular schools. Excellent opportunity to work in a very busy industry.
The Role
- Ensure that project design solutions are delivered to the highest standards
- Provide Technical support to the Project Team
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project
- Ensure all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Overseeing all setting out onsite
- Report into Site Manager and Project Manager
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience working as site engineer for main contractor
- Experience with LGS Systems or Modular Construction would be desirable
- Thorough knowledge of database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
