Senior Site Engineer – Dublin

Rightpath Recruitment is delighted to announce a new opportunity for Dublin!! We a working closely with one of Irelands leading Building Contractors who requires a Site Engineer to oversee the RC Frame on a €20M new build commercial development. This company has been established in Ireland for well over 100 years and has an excellent reputation for being a great contractor to work for. All travel, accommodation, living allowance and attractive base salary.

Experience Required

  • 3 Years recent relevant experience as Site Engineer
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience successfully managing and co-ordinating sub-contractors on a large scale
  • Understanding of the construction process
  • Proven track record of monitoring sub-contractors
  • Experience in Autocad
  • Experience in carrying out Health and Safety Assessments/Inspections

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate setting out and levelling of the works in accordance with drawings/ specifications.
  • Ensure all drawings and information relating to your area of work is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Review Architect/Engineer/Services/Sub-Contractor drawings to ensure co-ordination and integration.
  • Ensure quality control and testing of work and materials is carried out in accordance with the specification requirements.
  • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with the Construction Programme
  • Carry out check on works prior to and following any concrete pours.
  • Fulfil the role of Temporary Works Co-Ordinator when required
  • Acting as the main technical advisor, direct and supervise day to day operations of sub-contractors when required, resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  • Liaising with local authorities as appropriate to ensure compliance with local construction regulations.
  • Delivering Induction and Toolbox talks on site
