INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Site Engineer or Site Manager on behalf of one of Ireland's leading building contractors.
With a strong pipeline of work and multiple projects across Cork, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded contractor delivering large-scale residential and commercial developments.
The successful candidate will join an established team with the opportunity to take on a key role within major projects, develop their career and progress within the business long term.
Oversee and coordinate construction activities across large-scale residential and commercial projects.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, site teams and engineering personnel.
Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
Review construction drawings, specifications and technical information.
Coordinate setting out, technical queries and resolution of site issues (Senior Engineer).
Manage day-to-day site operations, labour, plant and materials (Site Manager).
Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants and the wider project team.
Monitor progress, quality control, inspections and snagging.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and building standards.
Relevant experience as a Senior Site Engineer or Site Manager.
Background in large-scale residential and/or commercial construction.
Experience working with a main building contractor.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings and specifications.
Excellent technical, organisational and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate subcontractors and work effectively within a project team.
Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Salary: €70,000–€80,000, depending on experience.
