Job Title – Setting Out Engineer (Building Construction)
Project – Mixed Residential and Commercial
Job Location – Dublin
Salary - €45K- €55K
About the Company
Working with a reputable Main Contractor across Dublin City or a mixture of Residential and Commercial projects.
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Being responsible for equipment on site when in use.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
- Performing Quality checks on works completed and reporting back to the senior engineer and project manager
- Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager/ Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Must have at least 2 years post grad experience in a building engineering role.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
