Setting Out Engineer / RC Frame – Dublin
INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Setting Out Engineer, completing RC frame projects in Dublin. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client who has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and is continually expanding and growing. The client places great importance in producing a high quality finish whilst keeping health and safety as a priority and never put at risk. It is vital that the successful candidate has specialisation in groundworks, reinforced concrete frames and civil engineering.
Setting Out Engineer Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for overseeing structure activity and staff, ensuring compliance with company procedures throughout. Regularly report to and support the project manager
- Manage & lead a team of Site Engineers
- Oversee the selection and requisition of materials and plant
- Management of health and safety on site
- Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
- Understand quality requirements from specifications and drawings and ensure compliance with both, on site
- Carry out and record quality inspections
- Keeping up to date site diaries and paperwork
- Conducting Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions and briefings
- Ensure competence of staff
- Hold and/or attend regular review/updating meetings with the wider team
- Find solutions to any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
- Provide regular updates on the progress of works to the site manager
Candidate Specification:
- RC Frame Experience
- Excellent organisational communication skills
- Self-starter that has the ability to work independently
- Full driving licence
- Setting out knowledge
