Setting Out Engineer – Dublin / Meath area
Long term work in Meath
Working with the site team and construction director you will be responsible for the correct setting out, surveying and drawing management of our works carried out on the sites, ranging from housing sites to industrial units.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for the company’s operatives.
- Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
- Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client/architect.
- Assisting contracts manager with overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site
- Preparing surveys and reports as required
- Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Proven track record of successful project delivery
- Relevant experience in multiple civil engineering activities
- Experience in heavy plant operations – desirable, not essential.
- Earthworks and muck shifting etc
