Setting Out Engineer – Dublin
INFORM3 are recruiting a Setting Out Engineer to work in Dublin on a rang of projects including datacentres, pharmaceutical, industrial, residential & commercial projects. The client has extensive experience in the Civil Engineering industry. Each year the client has experienced growth and has an immediate start for a Setting Out Engineer with great room to progress. The candidate will need to have experience in setting out, preferably on Civil projects.
Setting Out Engineer Responsibilities:
- Regularly report into the Project Manager
- Review site drawings and specifications
- Set out the site accordingly
- Assist in coordinating and managing various civil teams
- Assist in coordinating plant, machinery and equipment
- Order in materials
- Adhere to the company’s quality standards
- Maintain the site diary and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions and briefings
- Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended
- Ensure Health and Safety is implemented throughout site
- Traffic management
Setting Out Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer Degree
- 2 years+ experience
- Setting Out experience
- Ability to work off their own initiative
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Package
- Full driving licence
