Job Title – Setting-out Engineer
Project – Residential
Job Location – Midlands
Salary – €40,000 - €55,000
About the Company
An extremely busy contractor across Leinster are looking to recruit a Setting out Engineer to their team for continued works across multiple residential projects. Works to be completed across the Midlands – driving and licence and vehicle are desirable. February 2023 start.
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project
- Ensure all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
- Reporting to Site Manager
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Monitor facilities and analyse operational data
- Attend daily and or weekly meetings as instructed by management.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-grad experience with main contractor.
- Confident in your ability to work alongside other trades
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination
- Excellent IT Skills
