Setting Out Engineer – Dublin

 

INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Setting Out Engineer with work based in Dublin. The successful will work for a client with over 25 years’ experience in the industry. The client has experienced great expansion over the years due to their constant mindset of always producing projects within the allocated timeframe and within budget There will be responsibility for the Setting Out Engineer placed on the correct setting out, surveying and drawing management of works carried out on the sites, ranging from housing sites to industrial units.

 

 

Setting Out Engineer duties and responsibilities include:

  • Liaise regularly with the Senior Engineer
  • Help coordinate the site team
  • Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
  • Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
  • Ensuring that all materials and work is per the works programme.
  • Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client/architect.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety regulations
  • Preparing surveys and reports as required
  • Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise

 

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Civil Engineering Background
  • Preferred 1 years’ plus experience in relevant civil projects
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Excellent Setting Out knowledge
