About the Company
Our client is a renowned Main Contractor specializing in Commercial projects throughout Ireland. With an increasing workload, they are looking to expand their core team in Ireland. Currently, multiple Setting out Engineer positions are available for projects across the country. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to distinctive commercial developments in the vicinity of Dublin.
The Role
- Conducting setting out and verifying work in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and building regulations.
- Collaborating with subcontractors and on-site personnel to plan and execute the project.
- Proficiently reading and interpreting drawings.
- Assisting the Site Manager and Senior Engineer in ensuring that work adheres to the project schedule and maintains high-quality standards.
- Cultivating strong relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and site personnel.
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience with a main contractor in the UK or ROI.
- Ideally, experience in working with Concrete Structures.
- Proficiency in using setting out instruments is vital, along with competence in all aspects of set-out, survey, level, and temporary works coordination.
- Thorough familiarity with computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office, Project, and PowerPoint.
