Job Title – Setting Out Engineer
Job Location – Connaught
Salary - €40k - €50k
About the Company
A leading building and civil contractor who pride themselves in delivering fast, effective work while instilling quality with every project they undertake. They would regularly focus on projects that value around €10M-€15M. Projects are mostly commercial, specialising in sectors such as education, healthcare and pharmaceutical.
The Role
- Report to Site Manager
- Inspect facilities and analyse operational data
- liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
- Able to carry out and instruct in Setting out and levelling the site
- Comply with safety regulations on all equipment and health and safety regulations of the site
- Accurate record keeping and ability to interpret drawings and specifications essential
- Assist with General admin, management of all staff on site
- Maintain good working relationship with the Site Manager
- Co-ordinate subcontractors work
- Receive excellent training and development
Requirements
- 3+ Yrs experience essential
- Setting out experience is essential with use of various equipment including GPS and total station etc
- 3rd level qualification in relevant field, or equivalent
- Site Management Experience
- Computer literate
- Full understanding of design drawings
- Clean driving licence
- Full Safety Qualifications
