Site / Senior Engineer – Belfast
INFORM3 require a Site / Senior Engineer to join a Civils Contractor completing civil packages on a residential development in Belfast. The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor that is expanding rapidly within the industry and has a highly knowledgeable.
The successful candidate should have experience working on projects involving groundworks, earthworks, roads, utilities and kerbing.
Site / Senior Engineer Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Project Manager
- Review Site Drawings & Specifications, reporting on any omissions
- Provide assistance with technical and structural issues
- Coordinate the Site team providing support on daily and weekly tasks
- Adhere to health & safety
- Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
- Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Maintain stock of materials
- Regularly complete site paperwork and maintain the site diary
- Conduct Toolbox Talks & Health and Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions and briefings
- Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended
- Ensure traffic is appropriately managed on and off site
- Provide reports for the Project Manager highlighting progress
Site / Senior Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer / Construction Management Degree
- 3-5 years plus experience
- Setting Out experience & knowledge
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office, Word and Excel
- Previous experience working on a variety of civil projects
- Full driving licence
