Site / Senior Engineer – Cork
INFORM3 are recruiting a Site / Senior Engineer to work on industrial and residential projects across Cork. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client with more than 25 years in the Civil Engineering Industry. The client has a strong belief and focus in completing projects within the given timeframe and to a perfect standard. The successful candidate will be required to be experienced in setting out and supervising site works. The candidate will need to be a confident and organised individual, and able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Site / Senior Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to the Project Manager and provide regular updates
- Ensure specifications and drawings are reviewed regularly
- Set out the site with great precision
- Assist in manging site teams
- Assist in the management of plant, materials and equipment
- Respect and value Health and Safety procedures, ensure staff comply with current regulations
- Understanding the company’s policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
- Maintain the site diary and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks
- Complete site inductions
- Attend regular review/updating meetings with the wider team
- Provide progress reports to the Project Manager
Site / Senior Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree
- 4 years plus experience in a similar position
- Experience in working with groundworks, earthworks, drainage etc
- Strong numeracy and IT skills including MS Office
- Setting out knowledge
- Highly organised and driven to succeed
- Full driving licence
