Site Agent – Dublin

INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Site Agent for civil works on utility projects in Dublin. The successful candidate will work for a Civil Engineering Contractor with more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. The contractor is able to offer long-term work and fantastic opportunities to grow within the company.

The successful candidates will have previously acquired a Civil Engineering degree and have experience & knowledge supervising civil projects.

 

Site Agent Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Project Manager
  • Supervise and manage Site Engineers and Site Staff
  • Plan daily activities for the various site teams
  • Regular review the Project Plan ensuring that site work is on schedule and within budget
  • Conduct Site Meetings discussing pressing issues with the site teams and motivating staff when necessary
  • Regularly complete site paperwork and reports on site activity
  • Review workmanship ensuring that it is of an extremely high quality
  • Coordinate Plant and Machinery, ensuring they are safe to use and used effectively
  • Conduct inspections to ensure internal and external investigations are passed
  • Maintain Health & Safety throughout site
  • Order materials for site, ensuring there is sufficient stock
  • Ensure materials are appropriately disposed off
  • Attend Management meetings providing weekly reports
  • Liaise with Clients and Consultancies when required

 

Site Agent Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Civil Engineer Degree
  • 5 + years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of civils practices
  • Experience of managing civils teams
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Self-Starter
  • Motivated and driven to succeed
  • Full Driving license
