Site Agent – NI
INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a Site Agent, for heavy civil projects within Northern Ireland. The client is a leader within the civil engineering industry in Ireland and has over 40 years of knowledge, skills and experience. The successful candidate will have either a Civil Engineering Degree or Construction Management background and be confident in managing Junior Engineers and site staff.
Site Agent Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise regularly with the Project Manager
- Mentor and Supervise Junior Engineers
- Ensure all setting out is completely accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate with the on-site construction team on a regular basis, ensuring all daily and weekly tasks are complete
- Supervise site staff, motivating them to reach objectives
- Manage Plant, Machinery and Equipment
- Complete Toolbox talks
- Complete Site Inductions
- Chair and attend Site Meetings
- Monitor and control the quality of production
- Ensure internal and external inspection are passed and processed
- Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to
- Manage Materials and Waste
- Assist in emergency situations
- Complete the Site Diary and Paperwork
Site Agent Specification:
- Civil Engineering Degree or Construction Management Background
- 4 years’ plus relevant experience
- Good working knowledge of civils practices and regulations
- Experience of managing civils teams
- Confident in using Microsoft Office
- Excellent organisational communication skills
- Full Driving license
