Site & Senior Engineers – Belfast, Armagh, Down
INFORM3 are currently hiring Site & Senior Engineers to work on transport, industrial and utility projects within the Belfast, County Down & Armagh. The client has over 30 years’ experience within the construct industry. They have won awards for the Health and Safety displayed on site and also for the quality of each project completed.
The client is seeking a number of Site & Senior Engineers to supervise site works and set out. Candidates should be familiar with groundworks, earthworks and utilities.
Site & Senior Engineers Responsibilities:
- Report into the Project Manager
- Review site drawings and specifications
- Set out the site effectively, regularly checking on measurements
- Adhere to Health & Safety at all times
- Supervise site teams, provide direct on objectives
- Offer technical & structural support
- Order in materials
- Assist with planning & coordinating Plant, Machinery & Equipment
- Liaise with Clients / Consultancies / Public when appropriate
- Attend Site Meetings
- Complete toolbox talks & site inductions
- Attend Health & Safety briefings
- Assist with traffic management
- Provide progress updates to the Project Manager
Site & Senior Engineers Specification:
- Civil Engineer or Construction Management Degree
- 1-4 years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience setting out
- Experience in working on Civil projects including water, industrial units, rail, residential developments etc
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently
- Able to use Microsoft Office
- Full driving licence
