Site Clerk – Donegal

The Company

Brilliant Opportunity for a Site Clerk to be based out of this building contractors Head Office in Donegal. Working across ROI, numerous projects across several sectors and value from €100k to €25 million and growing.

This role is administration heavy and it is essential that the individual has excellent attention to detail and can build rapport with both site team and clients in order to ensure efficient and effective function of this role.

The Role

  • To provide a dynamic support and assistance service to colleagues in the site management team.
  • Meet, greet and deal with enquiries from, any visitors to the office or site.
  • Document control for the site management team.
  • Procurement of site materials and reporting to Head Office for the accounts related activities performed on site.
  • Maintaining site order book and reconciling orders with delivery dockets.
  • Co Ordinating deliveries in line with company policy.
  • Ensuring invoices and dockets are correct prior to going to Head Office.
  • Administering returns in accordance with Company policy
  • Responsibility for Site inductions of Subcontractors, operatives and managing relevant information in line with Company policy.
  • Undertaking data entry and back-up in line with company policy.
  • Monitor and control Health and Safety documentation from subcontractors.
  • Share responsibility for managing the Health and Safety of all on site.
  • Attend regular site meetings.
  • Prepare reports as required.
  • Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
  • Lead by good example.

What you need:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Strong teamworking skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Flexibility in approach.
  • Good project-management skills.
