Job Title –Site Engineer
Project – Pharmaceutical
Job Location –Cork
Salary – €45,000 - €55,000
About the Company
Tier 2 contractor looking to add an experienced Site Engineer to their team in Cork. Contractor has multiple live sites across the area, including two large pharmaceutical plants. Great opportunity to find long-term work with a large contractor as well as prospects of career progression.
The Role
- Ensure that project design solutions are delivered to the highest standards and meet
- Provide Technical support to the Project Team
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project
- Report to Site Manager
- liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
- Comply with safety regulations on all equipment and health and safety regulations of the site
- Accurate record keeping and ability to interpret drawings and specifications essential
- Assist with General admin, management of all staff on site
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as site engineer for main contractor
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications
