Site Engineer – Junior

INFORM3 Construction Recruitment is delighted to be working for a Top Tier Building Contractor who has a just secured a £30M new build project starting in Belfast. Our client has been operating for over 50 years and have an excellent reputation for delivering projects up to the value of £40M. The project has a RC Frame structure to the development and has a 2-year programme. The Site Engineer will be heavily involved with the setting out of structures, access roads and utilities, whilst receiving guidance from the Senior Engineer. Competitive salary and package.

The Role

  • Report to Senior Site Engineer
  • Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
  • Able to carry out and instruct in Setting out and levelling the site
  • Comply with safety regulations on all equipment and health and safety regulations of the site
  • Accurate record keeping and ability to interpret drawings and specifications essential
  • Assist with General admin, management of all staff on site
  • Maintain good working relationship with the Site Manager
  • Co-ordinate subcontractors work
  • Receive excellent training and development
  • Opportunity to excel and progress to more senior role after proving yourself

Requirements

  • 1+ Yrs experience essential
  • Setting out experience is essential with use of various equipment including GPS and total station etc
  • 3rd level qualification in relevant field, or equivalent
  • Computer literate
  • Full understanding of design drawings
  • Clean driving licence
  • Full Safety Qualifications
