Salary – €45K - €55K
About the Company
Experienced Site Engineer required to set out for a leading Irish Main Contractor in Cork with over 60 years’ experience working in both commercial and residential sectors. This contractor requires an experienced engineer to set out for a residential project in Cork.
The Role
- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Performing checks on the quality of works completed to ensure works are done to a high standard.
- Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an engineering role.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination and using a total station.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
