Site Engineer – Northern Ireland
INFORM3 are currently recruiting a Site Engineer for civils projects based in Northern Ireland. The candidate will work for a client with over 15 years in the construction industry. The client takes great pride in putting a fast and efficient delivery for each project. The successful candidate will need to have experience in earthworks, roads and utilities. They will be required to undertake surveying, setting out and site supervision work while keeping records of all site activities
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Report to the Senior Management Team
- Carry out Setting Out and Surveying of site
- Supervise direct and sub-contract labour
- Management of site health & safety
- Management of materials and waste
- Planning, procurement and coordination of labour, materials, and plant
- Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
- Understand quality requirements from specifications and drawings and ensure compliance with both, on site
- Keeping up to date site diaries and paperwork
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings
- Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
- Hold and/or attend regular review/updating meetings with the wider team
- Provide regular updates on the progress of works
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and procedures
Site Engineer Specification:
- Civil Engineer background
- 2 years plus experience
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team and independently
- Full driving licence
- Setting out and surveying knowledge
